Default Ideal tire setup for Non-tracking purposes

Dear All,

I've started with FAQ and have gone through the threads but haven't found a clear answer to my question. All kinds of setups are recommended and they all seem ideal for their respective uses. Highly confusing for noob like me.

Picked up on some often mentioned setups from various threads (they could be for racing oriented?)

235/40/18 front and 245/40/18 rear
or
245/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear

18" combination:
Front 18" x 8.5" , Offset +15 to +25, Tires 245/40/18
Rear 18" x 9.5" , Offset +15 to +25, Tires 275/40/18
(lower offset such as +10 in rear is possible but may require rolling)

Front 18" x 9.5" , Offset +25 to +30, Tires 255/40/18
Rear 18" x 10.5" , Offset +28 to +35, Tires 285/40/18 or 295/35/18
(lower offset such as +23 in the rear is possible but may require rolling)

Requirement
Car: 03 touring
Current tires: 17" complete stock setup.
Looking for: upgrade to 18" for balance between performance and looks. Hence will need to look for new suitable wheels/rims as well.
Usage: daily driving/commute, occasionally spirited driving + freeway cruising. NO tracking/race.

What would be a suitable tire setup for the above (18" wheels)? Pls advise.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,
B

There is no idea set-up for the 350Z only preferences. Buy what works for you.
