You might also consider treadwear rating. Although every manufacturer has their own treadwear rating, I tend to steer away from the 140/180/220 ratings for longivity reasons. The higher the rating, supposedly the longer it will last under normal driving. Once I bought some rears for my MR2 with 180 rating, they were slick in 6 months{normal driving} .
