Default Volk RE30s are on!

I've had my RE30s for 2 or 3 weeks but I just installed them this morning. Yesterday, after finally getting a much needed break from work and school, I installed some track model Brembos and a StopTech Stage II kit with Endless Vita Nuova pads.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but I'm not really one for pictures. Plus, a bunch of drunks crashed at my house last night so I'm blocked in and can't really get any good angles. These really don't do them justice. I'll post more later when I can get a decent camera and the drunks go home.

They're 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10.5 +18 on Falken Azenis RT615s.

Before:

After:

Next on the menu is a full suspension make-over starting with coilovers (I'm thinking HKS).

I'm hoping to do some track days this summer so I'm keep the stock wheels in case there aren't on-site tire mounting services at some of the tracks, so I can have a set of tires to ride home on.

couple of questions:

1- how much clearance between the wheel spokes and brembo caliper?

2- how much clearance between the wheel barrel and the caliper

3- will you be cutting or rolling your fenders?

thank you,

I was thinking about getting RE30 in Matte Black to go with my LeMans Sunset Z. What size Falken 615's are you running? Thanks for posting pics and I look forward to seeing more angles & pics when you get the other camera.

Also, what about center caps?...

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I don't know about exact measurements but there is way more room between the spokes/barrel and the calipers than with the stock wheels.

I'm running 275-35-18 RT615s in the rear and 245-40-18 RT615s in the front. They just barely rub in the rear so I'll be rolling the fenders as soon as possible.

I'm not really sure about center caps. Obviously, they'd probably just fall off at the track but since these are my DD wheels I may end up getting some. The front doesn't look bad because its just black behind the center cap but if you look close at the rear, you can see the hub/rotor nut/bolt. In any event, I think the RE30s look good without center caps so I probably won't get any unless it starts to bother me.

Not feelin it but I think it's due to not having center caps....

I don't know about spacers, man. I think +18 and +15 are already low enough offsets.

When I take more pictures, I'll try to get some from directly above the fenders. They stick out of the fenders just ever so slightly.

Anyway, here are a couple more shots from the group I took with my cell phone.

Those are hawtness! Great sizing, tires, color, it works!! You'll love these even more once you lower the car, and don't worry about rolling the rear fender, it won't rub once you lower the car.

Nice, you got it in Garrett. I knew itd be hotness! Just pick up the HKS from me and give that thing some negative camber in the rear and it shouldnt rub too bad. Talk to Rick@Status to get your fenders rolled or cut, they did mine.
