Default HKS Hypermax (how many folks have um)

I know Morrocan_mole is running this setup but who else has this on thier Z?

-Do you recommend it
-Was install easy
-What height do you leave it at
- Is it as easy as any other coilver setup to lower/raise?

Im using them now. I will post some pics of the ride height I went with in a few hours. The Ride height adjustment isnt to hard to adjust. I love the ride quality for everyday driving. Solved alot of problems the stock set up has. I am looking to buy some camber plates to help with the rear camber.

And in here lies the problem. There are NO camber plates to adjust the rear that I know of. There are only camber rods and toe rods which i plan on making myself and selling.

PLEASE message me ok AIM: wadd3456

Thanks!

lotus, did you have a problem adjusting the front coilovers at first? i had a ***** of time trying to turn them when i first put them in. now it's fine.

i agree with lotus, they are great for everyday driving ... i will get them on a track next month (may3 at tws... all you texas guys go sign up!! https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=22047)

right now im thinking the rear camber might be a problem, so (when i can afford it) ill probably get a set of rear camber plates.
i drive pretty hard and go through tires pretty fast as it is, so i may not have to worry about it. i guess ill have to see what the tires look like in a few thousand miles.

the install is pretty easy. it's about 5 bolts on each corner, and you need to remove the front stb. probably the most difficult thing about the install is removing the stock equipment (the front struts in particular).

when i installed mine we worked about 10 hours, that included several breaks for drinks/food/drinks/drinks/, and at the same time we installed stainless brake lines and changed all the fluids (tranny/diff/brake) and bled the brakes.

Once again, I am confused. I wish someone would straighten this out once and for all. Several times I asked to see if "rear camber plates" would work on our suspension and everyone who responded said NO. Still it seems people are "planning" on installing them to correct camber.

Please explain. Do you have a picture of them for the Z? I thought the only way to fix OUR camber in the rear was with adjustable rods.

Camber plates are for STRUTS, not multilink setups like we have. You are right, they won't work. You have to go with adjustable arms.
