Default Need New 17" Tires...What Type?

I've been searching & reading up on all the various types of tires to purchase. And after reading for a day, I am confused on exactly what kind to buy!

I have an 04 Roadster, all stock. My driving, although somewhat spirited is limited. I am a City driver, not into racing, and needing an all around tire. I have gotten 37,000 miles out of the OEM Potenza's but I feel like trying something new!

I would like a tire that does not "go away" within 5,000 miles and one that would be good for dry & wet conditions here in the Northwest. I do not drive in the snow, thank God, so snow is not a concern.

Anybody have some thoughts on what to buy? There seems to be no consise opinion here!

NItto Neo Gen tires, there was a thread about tires last week. you could check out nittos website for info. but they are one of the more advanced performance tires out for all weather. Not bad prices either.

http://www.nittotire.com/tires_neogen.asp

Designed to help eliminat irregular wear from camber as well as all season performance, low price too.

Add Toyo T 1Rs to those listed in study above. tirerack does not sell Toyos so does not include in report.
