Default BFG KDW NT Review

Let me start off by saying these tires look sweet once they are mounted on the Z. Before I bought these tires I was hearing alot of people talk about how noisy these tires were. Now I wouldn't say they are "Noisy" but they do produce more noise than the stock Potenza's that's for sure.

As far as performance goes these tires kick butt. The grip on these tires is amazing compared to the Potenza's. My launching and 1/2 shifts are much cleaner and I hardly spin at all. With the Potenza's my back end was all over the place every time.

Overall I'm fairly happy with the tires for the exception of the noise. I may go with a quieter tire next time. Those of you with the BFG's, what's your opinion about the noise?

I liked the tread pattern...I have 255/40/18s on my stock rear wheels and I have a pair of 255/30/20s on the front of my dubs.

Didn't notice much noise on my 18s....but them being in the rear only could be the difference. On my 20s, they are freaking loud. Good tire, they grib pretty well, and I love them on my 18s. But on my 20s, I'll replace them with Dunlap SportMaxx like I have on the rears.

these tires seem to have a firm sidewall. My 255/275 35/18's are a good amount more noisy than OE...but I was expecting that b/c I went with a lower aspect tire. In all, these tires have been great - With all of the rain Seattle has gotten this winter, I'm glad I went with these!
