Default sent wrong size tire???

i ordered new tire and rims the other day and just got them over the weekend but they put 275/30/19 on the rear rims,(245/35/19 front) as far as i know this is the wrong size, it should be 275/35/19. the 35 profile is what i asked for but they say they misunderstood me and use 275/30/19 on all their setups and there are no problems.

does anyone have experiance running a 275/30/19 rear and does it work as they say or should i go through the hassel of trying to exchange them for the 275/35/19 cause they want me to pay for shipping both ways and to pay for the unmount, remount and to ballance the new tire

what should i do??????????????
thanks

The front tires are taller than the rear. This may cause some serious VDC problems.

If you don't swap out the rear for the correct size, you'll find yourself in this predicament.

if they made the mistake of putting the wrong size tire on the wrong wheel, make sure they pay for their mistakes. Talk to the shop manager and file a complain.

thats were it gets sticky i know i asked for 275/35/tires because i turned down another company trying to sell me rims with the 275/30 set up and because i know it doesnt work. the sales rep admited he assumed i wanted 275/30 cause that is what they use all the time for 350z set up, but when he repeated the order back to me he says he said 275/30/19 tires, i didnt hear that.

my solution was to split the bill 50/50 with them, they pay for shipping both ways and i pay for the un mount and remount and ballance. as of right now the shop manager doesnt want to pay for anything, just swap the tires.

i would like them to cover all cost on their guarantee of wheel and tire package fitment since the package they gave me wil upset my vdc and abs. i allready emailed them proof of wrong tire size

Who did you order them from?

I don't see how they can say that it's the standard setup for the 350Z in 19" wheels when obviously it violates the #1 rule with respect to VDC - the rear tires must be taller than the fronts.

im not putting anyone out their publicly yet, im giving them a day or two max to fix their wrong. ( they do advertise in the wheel and tire vendor classified here on my 350z ) just trying to see what other people think about the situation and how they would handle it. the other company that i did not order the rim and tire package from because they wanted to give me the same 275/30/19 rear set up was a place in ohio called tires delivered.

If your order is in writing, then it must be honored at no cost.

A verbal (telephone) order may result in a misunderstanding. Still, the seller should give you a break.

I would say its a pretty common mistake from alot of tire/wheel companies, and most say they don't see any problems so the continue to sell people this incorrect size, and with enough people running around with those sizes, the problem gets worse because others think its the right size. A simple check with a tire size calculator will tell you otherwise, and personally its not even the TCS issue, its the retarded stance you get with smaller tires in the back
