Hey all,

is $1500 a good price for a set of 19'?

I don't have any way to substantiate this, but I think most would agree that's a pretty good deal. Lightweight, forged monoblock wheels made by Rays are typically more pricey than that, i.e. you could probably buy them and put tires on them for about the same price as a set of, say, Volk (Rays) LE37t in comparable size without tires.

LOL!!! I just got a set of 18"' Nismos this week from Brinster off Ebay for $1375! I thought that was a fantastic deal! Should have them on Wednesday. Can't wait!!! He's a good guy too if that's where you're getting your wheels from. Good luck!

You got a super deal. I got my 18" Nismos from him a couple of years ago for $1,600 shipped. At the time I thought that was a really good deal. Even with shipping you got them for less than $1,450. In my opinion anything $1,500 or less is a great deal for 18" Nismos. Anything $1,600 or less is a great deal for 19" Nismos.

Yes they are new if they are from Brinster34. He is actually with a dealer in Southeastern Virginia. Retail on the 18" Nismos is $2,300 for a set of 4. Search on ebay for Nismo wheels. Brinster34 usually has at least set for sale. I actually purchased mine from him directly by calling the dealership.

Brinster34 has both 18" and 19" Nismos on ebay right now.

Yes, like ZPirate said, they're brand new. Brinster e-mailed me that they're in unopen boxes. Can't be anymore new than that. BTW ZP, that's $1375 shipped. ;-)

That is a REAL DEAL then! Brinister34 used to add shipping to his ebay items. I didn't realize he had stopped doing that.

Yep, free shipping...just checked one of the links you posted and it's free as well. Definitely a GREAT deal for me, which is why I got 'em. I just couldn't pass it up.

I have the Nissan recommended tire sizes on my 18" Nismos, 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 on the rear. I have seen others go with larger size tires, but I decided to stay with the recommended sizes and haven't had any issues. They are still larger than the OEM tires. If I were you I would stay with what Nissan recommends for the 19" Nismos as well.

Paul, here's a link to a thread on the opening page, "Nismo wheels thread". Plenty of pics and there should be info on 19" tire sizes.
