Until you see what they cost.

Those rims + tires to fit them probably would run $4k?

Pay to play.

BUT, how would 4K be expensive?
$3K for (quality) rims and $1K for tires (that fat) sounds like a (great) deal to me.

Well as pretty as that would be....how wide a tire could you possibly fit on that? Also, kinda defeating the performance aspect now, no?

I thought the whole idea was:
1.) A light wheel
2.) As wide as possible,
3.) So we could fit as fat a tire as possible,
4.) While maintaining smaller rotational mass,
5.) But still big enough for a BBK.

(IE Volk TE37 in 18's vs 19's).

So why the 19's versus the 18's....is it just because not enough people were interested in the 18's or is there an aspect I'm not getting?

Andy, the 19x11s are a more logical build in my opinion and could be used for cars other than the 350z. The 18s are just too small. I am definitely on board for the 19x11s - no question about it. If you do decide to do the build, how long will it be before the first build goes through? If this is a definite I can wait...please keep me posted.

Also, what about doing a 19x10.5 or a 19x10 for the fronts? Then I could run a 275 in the front and a 305 or 315 in the rear.

Further, is the 11.5 rear setup out of the picture?

All good points, but I am sure the 19s sell better.

Subscribed, only wheels I'm interested in other than Work Emotion CR KAI.

19x11 sounds great, need a front set option to match.

If you can barely fit a 285 on it than what exactly was the purpose for such a wide wheel. It just weighs more in the end....and doesn't even look right

edit - just realized it was a sampler from Rays
