Exclamation Trouble installing my Volks

So i got a set of 19" GT-V's. I finally get them mounted and balanced. Decided to test fit on side and as i get the front driver side wheel put on. It doesn't fit. The bolts match up but there another bolt that is in between two bolts. Looks like a rotor release bolt of some sort. Well its in the way and will not all the wheel to be put on flush with the rotors.

Any suggestions? tips, help, anything...

thanks.

could it be the bolt that prevents the rear and front tire from being rotated?

other than that, a picture would help

That bolt is there so that the people rotating your tires do not put the rear wheels on the front. You can take it off with a 10mm socket. You don't need it.

Then you gotta shake it like Whitney when you get the wheel on.

Don't feel bad! When the 350Z / G35 first came out back in 02/03 I saw master techs doing double takes when the wheels didn't fit on properly, then getting on the phone and calling Nissan to make sure it was ok to remove it.

Cheers,

Gary

These guys are pulling your leg. Remove the bolts, and toss them in the trash.
