iwould coilovers or springs be better for lowering my car....
depends on what you want to accomplish. Are you going to keep it for a daily driver or maybe some autocrossing perhaps road racing or even drag racing?
How comfortable do you want the ride to be? How much of a drop do you want? Adjustable damping?
I would start researching springs. I would also looking to the tokico Dspecs adjustable shocks/struts.
start reading up about spring rates and find what would be best for you. look for people around your area with Z's and ask for rides to see how thier set-ups would work for you.
I remember when i put 18's on my 300zx , the front and rear camber were way off. Killing my rear tires in about 6 months, but it was probably because i jumped from 16's to 18's
