Default Torque Spec For Volk 2 Peice Rims

I currently have my 2 peice Vold SF Challanges taken about to clean them. I was wondering if anyone knew what the torque spec was for the bolts holding the barrel to the face of the rim?

Thanks!

I'm not sure taking them apart was such a good idea just to clean them. Sorry I don't know the torque spec. You may want to call Mackin.

Volk Racing will not release the info out on the torque specs because they do not want people taking them apart but 10-12 ft lb should do the trick nicely

I had the same question about Maya wheels. It's to take them out, and repolish the lips and the faces. But I've yet to find any info

I would recommand you ask a wheel repair shop...

True Wheel 1800-FIX-A-RIM
or
TURBAX www.turbax.com

Thats what I have heard that they won't release the torque specs. 10-12 ft/lbs seems like a reasonable spec.

Good idea... I am sure that some wheel repair place has taken some Volks apart, just wonder if they will tell me the torque!

Not sure why torque specs would be a trade secret, but I'm sure you're right.
