Default Sumitomo tires?

Has anyone ever heard or had any experience with tires? The dealer is trying to put a brand new set of these on the Z as part of our purchase agreement. But I 've never heard of them. They were gonna put toyos, but they were V rated and decided to go with this brand. Thanx in advance!

They manufacture tires under such names as Dunlop, Goodyear, and Falken.

I had a set of them on my GTI, and I loved them.

I've got about 10k miles on a set of Sumitomos for my Z. They are a little on the noisy side, but other than that I've had no problems or other complaints. Don't expect the big grip or handling of a high end tire. Good comfort for daily driving. If you can get the toyos, Id probably go for them instead.

I have them on my Z, and a few years ago I had a set on my BMW. They are really cheap but overall not a bad tire. The are on the noisy side, so if that's going to bother you, you should get something else.

i purchased a set(sumi) from sears a while back and the vibration over 50 mph was unbearable. i took them back the next day and replaced with Goodyears(no issues). Go with Toyo if at all possible, Sumitomo sucks.
