Curb Rash Repair
Greetings,
I am looking at a couple of sets of '06 wheels for my '05 and both have some curb rash.
Has anyone attempted an "at home" repair with possibly a Dremel tool or light grit sandpaper as to minimize the defect?
I searched for a repair shop but most websites were pretty vague as far as price and turnaround.
Any thoughts?

You should check with the various dealerships in your area - most have a "wheel repair" independent tech come into their dealerships once a week or so to repair rims. Find out what day he/she comes in, get with that person directly (not thru the dealership) & get a quote for what the charge is. I've usually seen it in the $50 per wheel range...... Hope this info helps.....
I actually followed the exact instruction and repaired my 03 Rays Track wheels. It worked pretty good. You can pick up all the supplies at Advanced Auto Parts, or Autozone, etc., etc. The paint wasn't an exact match, but it looks a hell of a lot better than curbed wheels. I was pleased with the results I got.
