What did you use to polish the lips? I have to do the same with my wheels.

Sorry, must be the angle in which the picture was taken.
Wheels only have about 1200 miles on them at the most over the last 1.5 years.

Never never any kind of bent, the most was about nick or two on each wheel before I polished them.

I take very good care of my ****.
I love the kit and the wheels look great. It all comes together nicely. Never heard of a do-luck kit...where did you pick it up (online)??

not as easy as said when dealing with automotive paint.
I'm still very new to this.
I have a friend teaching me.
I've made many mistakes to learn from of course over the past year...

Yeah it would be cool but not as easy as point and shoot.
Small pre cautions needed to be taken and I would hate to be responseble for some ones mistakes and ruin there product

Long story short Do-luck for some reason have not imported the kit for about a year so I paid 500. over retail for a brand new kit...

have you had the wheels balanced afterwards?

i could imagine the wheels off balanced by removing the center disc... however if you haven't felt anything in particular, perhaps i should do the same route, because i want to paint or powdercoat my wheels as well.

thanks for the info!

What grit did you sand it with and did you try any other products other than Mothers? Did you clear the lips?

Was clear the toughest part? I've been trying to perfect painting as well and figuring out the best psi to paint ratio... No one taught me. Just learned from trial/error and a cheap autobody book. Fumes are HORRIBLE don't think I've smelled anything more toxic even with a high quality respirator.
