Hello fans of deep dish wheels. I am leading the new battle front in the war against dished wheels from this point on refered to as "rice bowls"

Can someone please explain to me the "theory" behind the deepest dish on
the wheels ? Is this for performance or is it just for the "bling" factor ??

Ding, Ding, Ding! I think you're on to something. I was looking at wheels the other day and I caught myself passing over a set because they "weren't deep enough." I have been watching Rambo ever since.

I was looking at deep dish (gasp!) 20's. What in the world was I thinking. Now its 18's and no lip!

The lip is the automotive version of bell-bottoms.

 

Kind of side-stepped that question didn't you?

 

I think it's close to 4.5 inches.
