And how much mileage can you expect from them? Dealer (those bastids) sold me a car that barely made inspection so now I have to plunk down some money on two rear tires, front brakes and front rotors.
dealers = weasels

Try reading the reveiws for Avons on Tirerack. Seems to be a lot of "Z" owners who have purchased them. As I recall, most of the Avon buyers seem to like the tire. BTW, I don't have Avons or work for Tirerack, so I have no axe to grind in this case.

The Avon's have a UTQG rating of 360 and the Cooper's have a UTQG rating of 400. So this means that the Cooper tires will typically last a little longer, but since their scores are so close, I don't think it'd make that much of a difference.
I do know, from a performance perspective, the Avon's grip better. And my understanding is that you trade one for the other... treadlife for traction... more traction sacrifices treadlife. And vice versa... more treadlife sacrifices traction.

These tires are not worth buying. This coming from my use of these tires on a 04 Nissan Maxima.
The tires are loud after 12000 miles.
The tires are wearing faster the the OEM Goodyears.
The tires are horrible in snow, even light snow. Just don't have traction and let loose at every chance. Handleable but not confidence inspiring.
Except for the noise, these tires are acceptable for dry and wet driving.
These tires are made by Cooper for TireRack.
Your money would be better spent elsewhere.Hope this helps.

mine lasted a good time on the stock 18s. I was able to drive through snow no problem (I didn't have a lsd and the car is a base so no tcs/vdc)
wet weather traction was greatly improved over stock as well. nice and cheap, only issue is they go on backorder alot for some reason so getting a replacement (glass) was a month process iirc.

I have them for my 18" stock wheels, i put roughly 11,000 miles on them before getting my 19" wheels. I loved them, great grip, and very low noise especially compared to potenzas, ugh. I say they are worth it, especially for that price. Athough i opted to get the summer tires. not all seasons.
