r u serious??!! 19" are the ONLY aftermarket wheels allowed on the Z, it's a rule!

Plus 19's are too harsh on the roads and are a sure thing to get busted up in a pothole.

couldnt agree more!!!!!!! dam near **** myself when I was pricing out mine! There are only like 3 I was able to find in the 275 that the Z needs, dam near $1200 alone in rubber! Thats the main reason I decided to turn my wheel $$ into audio/video $$. The tires are to pricey right now, esp when all it takes is a nail, pothole, or just some jerk that wants to show-off for his friends and you'll be buying new ones.

19" are actually great, the road feels good. Not to harsh. We could get them in 18" but believe me.. They don't look as good as 19".

Wicked4u2c: lets have a gentlemen's disagreement. I love the look of my 18" with 35 series tires and I feel the little bit more rubber is an advantage on saving my wheels and a little bit lighter than 19's + smaller wheels mean lighter thus more performance so really 19's are all about looks and since i like the looks of mine, no advantage for me. Just a personal choice but that is why they make 17, 18, and 19" wheels

Yeah your right. They do look better. But on a road course (or those roads less traveled
) I will need performance not looks. Its not just the lighter wheels but the size of tires that will fit and enhance the performance of the wheel. Tire sidewall is where its at! I will be in touch!

Zland, I can easily run a 35 series tire just like you no problem...
I'll tell you something, on my previous car I had 17" rims that weight 20lbs. and than I had my 16" Volk TE37 that weight about 14lbs. I went to the track, swapped it at the track and times were identical! So 18"-19" comparing drag racing wont be much of a difference if even a .1 of a difference. Maybe if your road racing than you will have the upper hand with the lower size rim. I never said 19" were better than 18" I said the GT-7 looks better in 19" because you have the awesome 3.5" lip in the rear which you can't do in 18" Believe me, 17-18" rim doesnt seem much of a difference but when I see 19" rim from 18" it seems A LOT BIGGER! Anyhow, that's both our opinon no argument here just sharing opinions.

I agree with him, if it wasn't that i was really hooked on HRE's, I would have most likely gone with some Volks.

Anyhow, What I meant to say is that the GT-7 in 18" does not come with a 3.5" lip therefore the wheel looks out of place (IMO). Don't get me wrong, I have always been a fan of smaller diameter wheel. I owned a Honda Civic before here are some pics...
And I was rolling in 17" wheels for daily driving and had Volk 16" for racing. But their is something about the Z that just looks Wicked with 19". Believe me, I would be the last person to say I want BIG RIMS. But honestly, I am extremely happy with the rims. I have got more compliments about my rims than anything else including my other Civic.. Its all personal taste I guess, but like someone else said on this board.. These rims have that "race" look and the "bling bling" look too. Which I like. I will turbocharge my Z and also be racing it... As a matter a fact im racing tomorrow! I will post some videos later..
I took my Z to the track 2 months ago I will see if I sacrifice any performance.. Thanks again keep the comments coming.

Nice Civic! That thing looks built, how much HP increase?
I really debated from September (when i ordered my Z) until January about if i should go 18 or 19 and what wheels to get. I feel the wheels and tires make the looks of the car.
