Default Whoa, All the numbers?!?

So I just bought my Z, and I'd like to install rims. Problem is because ive never bought rims before, or never even had to worry about rim size before, I dont know what all the numbers mean, like 245/00/000 or whatever, and then I read something about offset number and things. Could someone explain for me lol? I have 18's back and front and want to keep the tires I have on cause they are brand new. Whats the widest I can go with the rim to fit the tire? Thanks All

18 x 9.5 +20 (f) 245/40/18

18 = Wheel Diameter (In inches)
9.5 = Wheel Width (In inches)
+20 = Wheel Offset (In millimeters)
(f) = Front

245 = Tire Width (In millimeters)
40 = Tire Aspect Ratio (Tire height as a percentage of width.)
18 = Wheel Diameter (In inches)

How to read a tire? Check the Tire Rack.
What is offset? Read the threads titled All about offset.
Uncertain about wheel size? No need to be inventive. Duplicate what other members have done.
