Default URGENT!!need help with my tires!!!

i just bought kumho spt tires from tirerack an installed them at sears. the tire size is 20 inch. but, it has a slow leak in one tire. i can't figure out what's wrong. i took it back 3 times. the tire leaks about 1 1/2 psi every hour. so i have to keep inflating them. first they told me it was a leak in the bead. so they fixed it and tested but it's still leaking, any ideas? i took it back again and they put this gooey thing near the lip of the rim. it still leaks.

How bad of a leak? Does it goes flat after 1 hr, 1 day, 1 week?

Part of your problem is that you took it to Sears. You need to find a high-end tire/wheel shop, not the bottom-feeder Sears.

Have them check where the beat goes, sometimes there is an extra piece of rubber that causes the tire to leak. If that's there it doesn't matter how many times they re-bead it it will keep leaking. I think the KDWs had this problem for a while.

Question

Obviously the installer is working with you to solve the problem. They put the tire in a bucket of water right?

Did they suggest that the wheel might be bent?
What size wheels?
What size tires?

Sometimes your problem is not the tire but something else. Check everything else like the valve stems. Also, it might help finding the leak if you have them over inflat the tires.
