Default Sources for used R-compounds?

Are there any good sources for used R compound tires?
I'm looking for 275/40/17 Toyo RA1. Unfortunately, new ones combined with 17" lightweight wheels are too much.

I know bimmerworld has some, but they are 235s.

Thanks!

You may try asking in the motorsports forum as well. Some of the AutoX guys might know some people or could sell you some.

Contact John Berget at JB Racing Tires. He is located in Wisconsin. I bought my used set of Toyo RA-1 tires from him for $300 (plus shipping). He is your best bet for used r-compound tires. Here is his website:

John personally answers the phone calls and will let you know what he has in stock at the moment. If he has the sizes you're looking for, he can have them shipped to your door in a few days. Yeah, I have to admit, I have his phone # on speed dial.
