So you be...

But 19" silver TE's on DB is straight candy, like Moodies ride. Maybe mercury silver if you want something different...

Default Here is DB with Gun-Metal!!

I was in the same boat, but in the end, I think the silver is sharper looking with more contrast to the blue car we have......and always easier to sell if I ever do sell the rims. If you've seen pictures of the Blue SKYLINE GTRs in Japan, almost all of them have bronze rims. Good luck!

Smile Wow, So much help to spend your $$$

On the silver color..............

There is many different shades of silver! On the TE 37s there is Flat silver, and Mercury silver.

Both are nice.

My design taste is that light color cars are best accented with brushed or machined wheels, and with dark colors, a chrome wheel is really stunning.

I personally won't go chrome as it really has been over done. But a high polish is sharp, and is "brighter" than chrome. I think a silver painted wheel with a polished or diamond cut lip, is very sharp!

Mercury silver ( a rich, deep, chrome like silver)would look great on a Daytona Blue Z, and I have not seen it done yet.

Good Luck!

Scott

Mercury Silver is very nice, but it is a special/limited edition rim for 18" TE37s only at this time.

And no, you can't order your 19" in this color at this time, otherwise, it won't be a special edition color any more!!!

I'd wait for the Mecury Silver as well, because it is so......nice! If you're not in a rush, I'd wait 6 months or so and see if they'll have Mercury Silver as a standard color then. Good luck!

If that's the case, I think falt silver will work just fine. I am actually thinking about polishing the lip of my TE37s to get a more unique look. What do you think?

Go with 18s for performance and gunmetal for looks with the DB, Christi. That's my opinion.

Sell me your children! The women! I want to buy the women! I mean... your stock Rays! I want to buy your stock Rays! lol

Man we have warped senses of humor! And that's the second vote for gunmetal I've been given (1st one was hubby's). I'm just a little afraid that it will look funky--but I do love the way they look.

Photoshop anyone? Pretty pretty please?

Those look like the bronze ones to me? Am I just confused? I thought these were the gun metal?

Those are gun-metal! It says so on the list of mods. I guess it could be the sun and the angle that made it look more copper/gold!

Well, you have an idea how they'd look...sort of!
