I have 9.5 inch wide wheels, and i put on T1r 255/35/18's in the front, when i mounted them they appear to have a slight stretch to them, nothing like what you see on VW's at car shows but never the less there is some stretching. Will this hurt the performance. I drive it hard. and have 3 more track days coming up on these tires.

 

You are taking a risk that the bead is not properly set inside the wheel. But you knew that when you put it on.

 

i dont think its a problem allthough the wheel protection from the lip of the rubber is gone, i can no longer stack my wheels
