Default favorite place to buy rims/tires

I am getting ready to buy some rims/tires and wanted to see what everyone thought are the best places to shop. Looking to spend around $2000

$2000 isn't going to get you much for rims and tires.

If you want the good stuff call up Rick at Status or Andy at Performance. At the time they gave me the best prices for my Volks. $2000 will get you some nice used set without tires.

Tire Rack packages are mounted, balanced, with accessories, and ready to install.

Figure $800 for tires leaves you with $1,200 for wheels. A smart shopper can find 18 inch wheels weighing less than 20 pounds each for $1,200.

Remember it is all about image around here. If you don't pony up at least $3000 for wheels and tires, the Volk-fanboys will unleash a torrent on hatred to make themselves feel better about over-paying for wheels to drive to Wal-Mart.

$2000 to $2500 can get you a nice set of used 19's on the forum, also look into Craigslist. But don't let the haters get you down, if you can't get a deal on used ones or just don't want to deal with a used set, look into Axis or Rota, you can get a set with tires thru our sponsors here for about $2400 (For 19's)
