The cap is suppose to just pop onto the wheel but the hub nut hits the back of the cap before it can lock in place.

I messed with it again today just because I thought I wasn't pushing it hard enough and there is just no way it's going on without breaking the cap.

The fronts snapped right in place.

what offset wheels do you guys have?

Sorry, hard to keep track of what everyone ordered

if you have a +30 or +28mm offset wheels caps will not work, EVEN if they are the raised ones

caps are not compatible with +30/+28

If you have the +20mm offset wheels then caps will work

The +28 offset of your wheels is decent. You might however want to look into some spacers if you dont like the way they sit. Anyways look at you man, I still remember your post when you first got the Z. Nobody can stay stock hanging around this board

I'm going to have my hub nut ground down to get the cap to fit. I can't stand to have the bare hub showing.

Not if done properly i.e don't mess up the threads. You will most likely lose the use of the cotter pin as a safety measure though.

So everyone thinks the 245/40 is too narrow for a 9.5" rim? 255/40 or 265/35 is the majority? The stock front tires on the Z have a slight stretch to them, so I didn't see the 245/40 as anything different from that. I like how the 245's kind of make 9.5's all around look like they're coming out to the fender equally...instead of the front sticking out farther then the rear (assuming same offset).

I guess I'd like to see some 255/40's and 265/35's on some 18x9.5's if anyone has pictures. Thanks.

^ 245/40 can work on a 9.5" wheel because of the taller sidewall but the width is better suited for an 8.5" wheel. 255/40 is potentially too squishy depending on tire. 265/35 is just right imo and I think you could pull off 255/35 without too much issue. I went the 265 route to make more use of the wheel width and for occasional autocross. I can say 265 is a lot of tire to run at the front just for the street...if I had it to do over, probably would have gone 255 or 245 with a 8.5" wheel.

Here is my setup: 18x9.5+22 F265/35 R275/35 on Hotchkis TVS 1

I would think 255/40's would be fine on RE050A PP's. I hear they have very firm sidewalls.

I just ordered my tires for these yesterday. I went with:

255/35/18 BFG KDW2 up front.
295/35/18 BFG DR's in back.

BFG tires are very thick for their sizes, so the fronts will be fine. I've seen 255/35's and even 315/35 mounted on nismo lmgt-4's so I have no worries about these. I'm not sure how much room I'll have to play with wheel spacers in the back, but I'll try to push the wheel out as much as I can without rubbing. I'll post pics as soon as I get them on the car.

Wanted to take a moment to update and apologize to Zoeb, and Dan if I seemed like I lost my cool there earlier. I know I blame alot of my stress on being over here, and its true, Im stressed pretty hard core most of the time. Also, I know pretty well, I should expect there will be communication difficulties between myself and a vendor back home. So Zoeb, and Dan, sorry if I went off a bit. I apologize.

For everyone who hasnt read this before, Subydude is in my opinion, one of the best vendors here to work with. They really went the extra mile for me.

In recent news, got the tires and gf210's, and the wife told me as soon as the tires get there, she'll take the Z to have tires/rims mounted and springs installed. So Id say another week, and I'll have those pics I talked about. Just a few things left.. Intake, VSII hood, and spoiler. Wife actually told me she wants a spoiler. She might get one for me for Christmas.. heheheh I love it when she thinks that parts for the car is her idea. Now how can i convince her that investing in FI is in her best interest?

Anyway, pics coming soon. Cant... freakin... wait!!!!!

I am running the Rota Torques 18x9.5 all around with staggered tires 265/35F and 275/35R (slightly stretched) you can fit a 285 max in the rear without having to roll the fenders 295 requires fender rolling. Good Choice these are sexy wheels that look even better in person believe me!

Do you have spacers in the rear? Yours dont look near as tucked as mine.
