Who is running wide tires?
very true. my 305/30 bridgestone re050 has a 12" section width. the same exact model/size is 12.6" for the oem porsches.
edit.. also compared to the 295 ps2, the 305 bridgestone should be 10mm wider, it's only about 3mm wider.

325/50/15...yup its for the 1/4 mile...295/35/18 street..While we're on the subject of wide tires, can anybody give me the best method for rolling the fenders. We used an aluminum baseball bat on my buddies but I know there has to be something better than a bat.sorry for being OT...just asking

honestly, though, cutting is the best route to take... the Z's fenders are relatively easy to cut and it does not degrade structural support in the least...
