Default Snow tire ratings question...

I have a set of Dunlops here I got from two Z members. The 225 pair are 95V. The 245 pair are 96H. Both V and H are 130MPH and/or 130+ ratings. And hell, I've barely seen 100 in this car, and I highly doubt I'll be doing those kinds of speeds in the winter.

So do the slightly different ratings matter in this case, or not at all? I personally doubt I'm at risk for anything, but it never hurts to be extra cautious and get a second opinion.

V is 149MPH, H is 130MPH. For snow tires it really doesnt matter. H is fine. But since you have a H rated tire on your car, the fastest you can (or i should say, SHOULD go) is 130MPH

If you drive 100 MPH in the snow, let us know how it works out.

If you have the right setting and equipment it is a whole lot of fun.

LOL. I don't even drive it faster than 70 on a highway. 60 or less. Unless I'm in Long Island and keeping up with traffic flow (5MPH higher there).

Either way, thanks for the assurance, guys.
