***How much protection do the nissan wheel locks provide?***

I just got my Nismo LMGT4s with brand new Toyo Proxies and would like to know that they are protected.

I noticed that the locks are deep inside the holes on the rim.

I wonder how many nissans have the same wheel lock key and if there are other ways to get wheel locks off.

google gator grip universal tool. I heard that will get alot of locks. I dont think it would fit down in the lug hole, but that wouldnt prevent some crack head from destroying your wheels while trying... I think it has more to do with how much time they have to work on your locks, not whether or not the lock can be defeated.

 

If they want it , they will take them.

 

I have the Nissan wheel locks as well. Maybe time to upgrade?

 

Better question is: how badly does the thief want your wheels & tires??
