Question Volk Gold accented wheels on LeMans Sunset?

Pics below... (not my ride)

Does this clash? It was brought up in my media share thread and I personally like the look but I'm curious if others think it clashes... No, I'm not using the board to make a decision, I'll ultimatly get what I like, but I'd appreciate the feedback. I'm looking at either the SF Challenge, but leaning towards the GT-F in DMC Gold.

2nd'ed, I think it looks clean. There is a Lemans Sunset Roadster that works near me with bronze TE-37's and it looks pretty good also but I think the chrome lip on those rims looks a little better and the color of the bronze/gold is brighter then onthe TE-37's

Would it be overkill to get the door handle to match the gold in the rims?

That car looks sweet though

I think painting the door handles to match the gold Volks would be overkill for sure.... reminds me too much of a gold package on a ghetto Cadillac or Thunderbird.

I think if I get anything to help tie the gold wheels in and bring it all together it would be a large "FORGED performance" logo in matching gold across the front windshield. once they do my TT setup that is. :Þ

The color of the rims on the lemans looks great, the car is a little over the top but the colors match great I think.

i love how in the rolling shot, the trim is coming off the rear lip. bwahahaha. but imo, the gold looks good on lms. make the door handles balc, and get a cf hood to break it up a bit, so its not an overkill of gold/orange.

there are certain colour wheels that just dont match with LE MANS
GOLD for example i think is terrible and really takes away the beautiful bronze/gold type colour for le mans
it almost seems yellowish when gold wheels are on a le mans
bronze/gunmetal is INSANE on a le mans and is what i suggest

for once a paint job that the flop of the paint on the aftermarket parts matches the paint on the body of the car. i cant stand paint that doesnt match, maybe its cuz im ASE certified in refinishing.

the wheels look amazing on that color.
do u happen to kno the size, offset, and tire size on those wheels?

you seem to be one of the few that doesn't like it. Thanks for the feedback. I was in a similar position as you are in that I don't care for bronze on a Le Mans Sunset at all but I dig the gold.

Not sure who it belongs too, but I do know I've had them on my PC for years. They are indeed, quite old.

A local guy had Bronze Gram Lights on his LS, and it looked pretty good. Gold should look even better, though...

Gold Volks looks great! I don't think you can go wrong with any wheel color on LMS
Here's one of my favorite combo Silver + Le Mans sunset like the Meisters on Masterjr's Z.
