Default Tire Size?

Hey what's up guys? I have a question about tire size. Ive been running my nismo 18 inch 9.5 width rims all the way around with 275/35 sidewall front and 275/40 sidewall rear because of tps sensors. I do not really care for the TPS sensors for now since I didnt put them on my new wheels yet. Is it ok to run 275/35 all the way around for the tires with these rims or has anyone had experience with that setup? In essence I'll only be changing the rears back from a 40 sidewall to 35 sidewall. Im also putting in some greddy type s coilovers with stock height front and a half inch drop in the rear. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Tire size has nothing to do with the TPMS sensors. You're thinking about the stagger required for VDC/TCS. If your car has VDC or TCS, the front tires have to be shorter than the rears. In some cases, you can get by with the same size all around, but a lot of the time, people have problems with VDC or TCS kicking in when they least expect it.

Yes, you're right about the vdc. So you're saying that every now and then vdc will kick in intermittently? If that's so, Im going to end up getting the the 40 sidewalls for the rear. I'm just asking because I'm going to get some tires for the rear but tires.com only have the 35 sidewalls and not the 40 for free shipping and a decent price. I was trying to see if I get a good deal on these kuhmos. Anyone know a good site for tires as far as pricing and shipping? Thanks for the info by the way.

Have you tried the site sponsor Tire Deals 4 Less.com (big banner at top of page)?

There's also TireRack.com, Discount Tire Direct.com as well as some smaller ones like EdgeRacing.com and VulcanTire.com
