This is a scandal. They still have threads up in Vendors classified.

There was a guy from the UK who warned us about them at least two months ago, yet they still got orders in.

We need people in the Tampa Bay area to do some detective work. If this guy is running a fraud operation, we need to put him away for good to avoid more damage to our Z community members and any other car enthusiast member.

What kind of wheels were they? If they are Volk you might want to call Mackin Ind. and let them know.

Make a note of it on their Itrader so others can see what is going on.

http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/

File a internet fraud complaint with the FBI, and urge others who have had the same problem to do the same. I would also call up the local Tampa PD and see what they have to say.

I just got my provisionary credit of $1000 from the bank this afternoon, which I am happy about. I don't want this to happen to other people, so I will be contacting my local Consumer Advocates and also file an internet fraud complaint.

Does anyone know if these four businesses operate from the same location?

I contacted Mackin Industries and this is a quote of what their response was,
Jose,

I would like to help you but Wheelautohaus.com don't buy wheels directly
from us, I'm not sure which one of our dealer they buy from. If you like
maybe try calling our florida dealer and see

RZ Motoring 407-273-0099
I went to my bank to tried to do something about recovering my money and they told me that they were going to open and investigation but that it was going to take between 45-90 days before they can have a resolution. So, I guess my case is not going to be that easy since is being over 3 months since the original transaction was made. In the meantime, I'm going to explore some of you guys suggestions because we need to do something about people like this one.

Hey g7x5 where in Al are you B-ham? We could dive down and give them a visit. I'm going to Miami on the 29th to fly to Peru for a week. To me a $1000 is worth a A$$ kicking. There in Tampa right? I have a good friend that is an detective down that way. I'll ask him what can be done.

g7x5, Tom's Z... et al. I wish you guys the best of luck. Hopefully you can get your money back...

Do you think the moderators would mind if we cross posted in the (Tampa) Florida section so that this gets a little bit more visibility? Maybe they personally know the people associated with these businesses.

I called my bank and they said that they'll file a claim and that I didnt have to worry about the charge on my credit card. Even though it was 3-4 months ago they said that since I did not receive the merchandise that I would just have to fill out the paper work and will recieve my $1K deposit credited back to me. The only down side is the wait time I have to go through for all the paper work to process. For the wheel auto haus staff, wow you really screwed me and other members here and I'll just leave it at that.

Just me or does that say that one of the companies listed above for the guy is a Mackin dealer?

You guys need to seriously stop fukcing around and file a complaint with the police department and get an arrest warrant out there. I constantly see threads like this and no one seems to know what to do...

Tom'Z
That's good news Tom'Z, the fact that after 3 mo. your bank is capable of crediting the money back to your account. I hope that for my $1000 it also goes smooth, even though I too have to wait between 2-3 month for a result in the investigation.

hershell
That will be great if you could have your friend look about getting a little bit more info on this guys.

InZomniac
The company that "TheCajunStyle" listed is RZ Motors not RZ Motoring. Perhaps this two companies are the same. I tried to contact this company but all attempt has being unsuccesful.
