I recently removed my wheels, and gave them a good cleaning/wax. My PS2's only read OUTSIDE. The thread pattern has curved grooves on the outside, but there is nothing indicating the rotation direction. I know all need to be the same direction. Is one direction better for different types of driving? Am I missing something here?

 

They are NOT directional. They are asymetric hence the "Outside" marking.
