Default help with volk gtc's

i still have the stock 17's on my car

i am interested in getting gtc's
18x8.5 offest 30 all around

i dont know much about wheels and i wanted to know if i got this would it change the feel of my car

also looking for some other advice

i know alot of people get 8.5 front and 9.5 rear i am thinking about that but could you guys tell me the advantages to it
also what offsets should i get front and rear if i get 8.5f and 9.5r

if you go plus1 (17"-->18") you would need to get lower profile tires to maintain the same overall diameter. That would make your ride harsher since the sidewall is less with the tires for 18" rims. but in exchange, your steering would be more "sensitive".

I have the GT-C's on my car with +24 offset all around. The biggest difference I have noticed is the weight difference. Even with the 19"s the wheels weigh less than the tires. (less unsprung weight and rotational mass are worth the weight, or lack there of, in gold...)

Ride quality is a little more harsh since I have lower sidewalls. Performance wise I can't tell too much of a difference, on the street so far at least from the wheels. Tires on the other hand, the Toyo's are much stickier than stock.
