Recently posted a thread about '07 tire feathering and received mostly positive response and helpful suggestions all leaning towards alignment issues. Although the dealer had stated that the alignment was within the specs....the car has 9000 miles and a very annoying growl. Not a new sound (3rd Z). I have since talked to the dealership and changed the alignment
to 0.02 tow in. I received much feed back saying that the alignment needed to be .07 tow in (this was where the vehicle was when it feathered the tires). Any feed back to specifications would be appreciated.

I have been to a highly reputable and upstanding mechanic and asked the specs to be broken down like I'm six years old. He provided me with a opinion I could understand. -1.0 camber will wear inside of tires. 7.4 caster will probably double that. The suspension is designed to plant optimal amount of rubber in turns.

Positive side....it will handle like a mother****....it does doesn't it?....yes!!!!!!! end of conversation.
