Got back Tuesday but didn't pick up the wheels till tonight, they look fantastic in person. Won't have a chance to mount the tires on until next week though, have to get the TPMS programmed on Wed...and of course, we have crap weather until next Sunday. Ahhhh!
bleufind that looks great!!! Did you post any other pictures in another thread? That's only the second set of GTs I've seen that were painted.
I think the full color looks good on the lighter colored cars, but on a darker car I prefer to leave the lip as a break between the center section of the wheel and the tires. Honestly I expected people here to give me **** about it, but the thing is the wheels had scratches all over them, the rear 2 pretty bad (not from me, DHL mishandled the packages) so they needed to be refinished anyway. I figured, might as well do something different.

Wow, thanx for the compliment. I dont have any more up to date photos of the wheels right now, our Z club is waiting for all the pics to be returned to us that they took. Thats just one of the preliminary pics that they posted for us to see what they took.
My rims were in the same situation as yours. I got them used and they werent really scratched so much as the finish on them was screwed because they used a wheel cleaner that stained them. I had them powdercoated by glory co. here in orlando and theyve been on the car since about september of last year. The front stillen grille thats on the car was also powdercoated by them but I had that done in a gloss black.

I think they look fantastic, hopefully they'll look good on the car.

And can you do a close up of the line where the powdercoater separated the colors?
