yea man, prep work was a *****, since i had to scuff in little spots. but it was well worth it, the better you prep the better the finish.

^yea was going to take them off, well tried and broke one of them off, so **** it and painted them.

^ base coat clear coat. using PPG base and southern polyurethane clear coat.

hmm thats interesting, I always just assumed that normally the whole tire is seperated from the rim before its painted, Isn't that what the guys with the black painted stocks do? ...and yes I know the OP didn't paint the whole rim... nice work

why take the tire off if you can mask off, since i had to mask off the polished lip anyways. my buddy painted his rims, he has no lip he just put vasaline all over his tires lol.
and there was no over spray on the tires, i used low pressure and my aim is good
