Default Enkei Special Brilliant Coating durability?

I'm about to buy some Enkei RPF1s for my '04 G35 coupe, probably in the SBC finish. They'll be my everyday wheels, but also used for 3-4 HPDE days each year, and a couple evenings of 1/4 mile runs.

If you've got Enkei wheels with the SBC finish, how do you feel about its durability? Obviously they won't stand up to a curb , but how are they as far as chipping, scratching, and corrosion from brake dust (particularly for those who run higher temp pads)?

I haven't had a problem with my RPF-1's. I've been to plenty of auto-x's and lapping days, along with daily driving.

ps- SBC= Saphire Black Coating

Glad to hear it. And -- not trying to be a jerk or anything -- but:

SBC (SPECIAL BRILLIANT COATING)
Breakthrough technology has enabled ENKEI to achieve a chrome-looking finish using synthetic coating and cosmetic techniques. SBC delivers a brilliant metal finish without the high maintenance associated with chrome and is used by ENKEI to maintain lightweight characteristics and enhance the finish of the wheels.

Maybe Sapphire Black Coating is from one of their other wheels, or from another manufacturer?
