Default tire sizing suggestions

hi i just recently purchased some te37's in 19x9.5+12front and 19x10.5+12rear. I am wondering if anyone else has this setup and what tire specs they went with. or if anyone experienced can give me their opinion. i plan on lowering the car with springs just not sure if im going with the .6" drop or the 1". and probably going with a rear camber kit. give me your opinions. thanks

Those are some fantastic wheels, nice choice. With that kind of width, you might try:

265/30 19 front
285/30 19 rear

30 series and you'll go scraping everywhere. i suggest the usual:

245/35 front 275/35 rear.

Those would work great too, just a bit narrow for those wide wheels. How come you said a "30 series would rub?" It isn't the aspect ratio that would cause rubbing, it would be the width.

true that with a 30 series you are going down one size for the sidewall. but remember that the 30 series sidewall only means %30 of the width, and since your jumping two sizes from the 245-265 and 275-295, the tire will be wider and will rub either way.

coupled with the offset, which is +12, extremely aggressive for a wider tire size. also he is going to lower his Z which will increase the chance of rubbing even more so.

255/35/19 275/35/19
with +12 you might rub if you are lowered.

i think he would rub regardless. And you "need" to lower the car cause you're getting 19s...so it might be abit off if you don't lower it.

yah i will be lowering it just not sure how much yet. just with springs. i dont want to much camber cause it looks dumb so i will roll the fenders, and so far i think the best tire sizing ive been told by a few ppl is 245/35/19 275/35/19 does anyone disagree with these sizes?

imo it wont make much of a difference but with a 9.5 front the 255 will be less of a stretched look which imo doesnt look too great. I just wanted to keep it around 20mm stagger less understeer etc. either one will work fine you could pretty much decide by which tires you wanted some dont come in certain sizes.

look at my shines pics down a couple thread those are 255's on 8.5's they are about right for my taste so that tells ya they will be a little stretched on 9.5s 245's just wouldnt work for me but some people like it like that.

+1, that's what I have but I don't have that offset. Just don't lower too much and you should be ok.
