Default Ahhh I can't decide on wheels!!

ok, I know the final decision is mine, and I know I shouldnt care what anyone else thinks, but I think I have finally narrowed it down to a few sets of wheels, and I think thats as far as I can go without some opinions from others.

I dont really want to spend more then say $2,500, but I really want to go 19" which means I'll need new tires too. I want them staggered, and have pretty much decided on black center with chrome lip.

This is my car:

19" TSW Jaramas
I got quoted $1800 WITH Nitto tires for these, brand new. I don't know much about TSW, from what I have read they seem decent. I really like the look of the deep chrome lip on these wheels. Anyone have TSWs or any experience with them?
http://tsw.com/alloy_wheels_jarama.php <---Gloss Black ones

19" Motegi SP7
Got quoted $2200 with Pirelli tires for these, also brand new. I like that they are matte black, but still have a nice, deep chrome lip. From what I have read online though, Motegis sound kind of cheap and junky. Anyone have any experience with them?

Those are my top two right now, I think, lol. If you have any other ideas or suggestions besides these, please post em up, as it is pretty clear that I need alot of help with this decision.

Thanks!

P.S. Please try not to flame my newbness too much.

I like the looks of the motegi better if these are your choices.

Lightbulb I don't...

have experience with either. The look of the second ones would be my choice considering your Z. Don't forget to watch your offsets.

Suggestion: You maybe able to find some used "bigger name" wheels in your budget. Tires could be another story though...

Outta those choices, the TSW wins by far.

Default Is this set up for looks or performance?

If its for looks either choice is fine.

If its for performance you picked some heavy *** wheels and crummy tires.

Well, if I go 19", which is really what I want, Ill have to fit tires in that $2k ish budget too, and its hard to get decent tread left on used tires for that price from what I've seen. Ill keep checking the marketplace though, maybe a set will catch my eye.

Its more for looks, but I dont want to ruin the cars performance by going too heavy. The website doesnt list weights for the TSWs, so I guess Ill call today and find out.

you say that motegi's sound cheap and junky, yet they are the more expensive of the two options... logically both would be cheap and junky. I honestly wouldn't get either but imo the motegi's look better. friend of mine has motegi's and the paint is chipping off on all 4 wheels. just save up or up your budget a little and get better stuff. for about 500 more (125 per wheel) you can get a way better set of wheels and tires brand new, and for a couple hundred more you can get a good set of used wheels w/ tires. plus, better wheels seem to be easier to re-sell if you get tired of them. just keep that in mind. b/c you are skeptical about buying motegi, imagine how skeptical someone would be about buying them used.

I would save a few more bucks and buy a nice set of used rims...Just not a fan of heavy tsws or Motegi's....You have a nice roadster....dont make it look cheap...

I would save up a little bit more. I sold my Volks with tires for less than what you budget is...

One thing I learned when modding is to get what you really want ant not settle. It will save you a lot of money in the long run.

Based on the style you're looking for, I'd suggest the Maya MRS. JDM, and good widths/offsets.

They are really nice, and definitely the right style, but from what I have seen, they start at around $800 a wheel, which is too much, especially if I have to buy tires on top of that.
