Arrow Need an idea size for the auto x

Currently I am running 18x9 (+18) and 18x10(+22). I am stuck on these sizes so far and I can't decide which ones to go with. Would like your opinion.

245/40R18
255/40R18
265/35R18
275/35R18

275/35 rear....id do 285's but thats not an option. id also do 255/35's up front instead of 255/40. more importantly, what kind of tires are ya wantin to run? went to the autox today at pelli. saw a Cobra with 315/30-17 hoosier slicks ALL THE WAY AROUND. i was like 0_0 wow. grip much?

Yeah I was considering the Falken RT-615 and their sizes are very limited

Currently I have four 18x9.5 +22 wheels with 245/40 front and 255/40 rear Falken Azenis RT-615. However, I just bought some 18x9 +18 and 18x10 +18 wheels for autocross myself. I plan on using buying 245/40 and 275/35 tires for these wheels.

275 on all 4 corners...the 615's are a great street autoX tire, but when it's cold (freezing temps) the lack of traction is scary

245's on a 9.5 inch wheel? 245's are for 8.5's maing! but yeah next time I buy I may get Azenis like 275/35 all the way around if they have them. I'll have uber grip.

For autox, get as much tire underneath the car as possible. I would go 275/35/18 all around, or the 265/275 combo if you want to keep a bit of diameter difference.

Yeah I am a bit worried about front clearance issue. I am going to check if I can go 275 all around and if not, 265/275. Thanks Guys!!!
