^LOL! That is not an iForged wheel. The center cap in the pic has a different profile than an iForged one. Also, if you look at the iForged website, none of the wheels in their product lineup have small holes between the lug holes.
Who cares? There are lots of high-quality things that fail when enduring unusual levels of stress. And if it happens enough times, word will get back to the manufacturer and they may or may not take heed and change the design to avoid repeat incidents.
Then there is also the quality control aspect. Even if the company manufactured to 6-Sigma standards (which wheel companies probably don't), which is a very stringent level of quality control, the benchmark is 3.4 defects per million 'opportunities'. The wheel company probably hasn't made 1 million wheels yet, but you get the idea. **** happens.
That could happen to any wheel. I was at the range dealer ship the other day and saw the same thing. It was a 3 piece wheel but they wouldn't tell me the name because it had a range rover cap. look like asanti but don't really know. Really, I think it happen to any wheel and I'm sure the manufacturer will cover it. Dude I have seen HRE's cracked like that.
FYI, this wheel was replaced, but now the same owner has ANOTHER cracked wheel. Same set. This time around Sevas is dodging him like they owe him money. Oh wait, they essentially do...
