Default Nitto NeoGen - 245/35/19

Do these tires really help prevent camber/toe wear on the inside edge of the tire like they claim, or is it all marketing BS/hype?

I'm running -3.0 camber on my front two wheels, and it's starting to eat my Toyo T1R's up for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

*15mm spacers care waiting to be installed. Please no comments regarding how tucked my wheels are.

Anyone on here with first hand experience with these tires and lots of negative camber?

Although I wish NeoGens would come in 255/35, I will gladly settle for 245/35 if they help.

*I know I can get similar tread life out of the T1R's if I flip them, but that is inconvenient for me. THANKS FOR MOVING AWAY, GRANT!

*I've already searched, but have failed to find anyone to answer the specific question as to whether or not they really "work." All I've gotten are performance/noise reviews.

I would like to see a tire that “prevents” uneven wear. I am sure that your set-up looks cool. Its expensive to be cool. Pay the man.

ive been using the neo-gens in all types of chicago weather and have no complaints with them. Cant really comment to the wear since they have only been on the car for 1k miles.

I am running them now..... my camber/toe is not that far off of spec, but tires show NO sign of wear. They have been on car for about 10K

As for the rain comment..... Tires handle great in all climates and I have had NO issues in the rain.

I have been running neo-gens for about 10k, they seem to be wearing fine, but they don't perform all that well in the rain. Great for dry warm weather.

i am running the neo gen also. and ran the 555's before. only have about 200 miles on them so can't tell ya how they will wear. but, the 555's were horrible in the rain and not so hot in the dry either, and tread wear was pretty quick too.
the neogens seem to do pretty good on the wet as i found out pushing the car pretty hard this weekend and coming around a dry turn and it turned to wet pavement on the exit. car didn't squander at all! dry acceleration was very good also. they are still full tread though and will see how they react as tread gets thinner.

btw- you just need to drive harder to wear the outer edges of the tires equal to the insides, lol.

I am another 555 hater. Because of that, though I REALLY hesitate to try other Nittos. The NeoGen does interest me. Not the Invo though. The tread on that one looks idiotic, and it was ranked very low on an independent consumer reports review.

The Nitto Invo has a very similer inner like its made to work well with cambered cars. The come in 255 , and work great in the rain.

^^ what were the different classes? looks like it scored really high, but on a sliding scale it appears. i know i like them so far, but in 245/30/20 and 305/25/20 and dropped, mine feels like it's on rails on any tire, lol.
