Powder Coating LE37s - color opinions?
I am getting a set of LE37s (gunmetal) repaired and re-finished tomorrow, which includes new powdercoating.
I have a redline. Anyone have opinions on color?
My inclinination is to go black, but I have only ever seen them black in pictures on here and sometimes the wheel details tend to washout and it just looks all black. Is this the case for in-person as well?
I also like gunmetal - but imo, the volk GM is too light in color. I like the Advan dark GM a lot, or something close to that... but I dont know how I feel about powdercoating the rims to a color that isnt even close to what they were originally offered.

If you are going to bother having them powdercoated, I would be more interested in having them done in a color that wasn't originally offered.
That being said, with a redline I'm not sure if I would stray from silver, gunmetal or black. If you had a different color car I would suggest white or blue, or go nuts with red or a green, even a sunburst orange...but with a redline, I'd stick to the basics IMO. Leemik's car has black LEs and look unreal fantastic.

Ya, I will probably do either a gloss type black, or a darker gunmetal.
I am getting them powdercoated because it comes with the repair I am doing as a package deal. Might as well make them look new.
