A FEW bad cases? A few GOOD cases is more like it.

Discount Tire is one of the most respected tire/wheel distributors on the planet. Their local outlet here in Las Vegas found the usually hard to find Toyos for my 19" Volk wheels in no time, and priced them lower than anyone. They did a flawless job mounting them as well.

I think I'll respect their judgement concerning the BC forged wheels. I don't think I'll replace my Volks with them, but I'm glad to see someone may be doing what the knuckleheads at iForged could not: provide a more affordable alternative to HRE without quality and customer service issues.

I owe iForged nothing, therefor I have no reason to flame anyone because of my association with iForged. On the same note, my opinion on Coddington quality is just me informing people of something that someone embellished. What right do you have to say that they are unsurpassed quality? All I was saying is that if these wheels follow along the same lines as the Boyd Coddington line, their quality will not be all they are cracked up to be. ZZTop, how can you say that about BC, theyve never sold a set of wheels......how do you know how their quality will be and how their customer service will be? Thats one of the things people have hated about BC in the past. Do your homework boy.

You'll notice I said "...someone may be doing......"

Read a little more carefully, boy.

I have iforged now, I had a set of Boyd's on my 97 Blazer. Boyd made excellent wheels with great craftmanship, but grew a little too large too fast, and went bankrupt. I can't speak for the quality of Boyd Coddington wheels (the successor company), but Boyd's were a highline, while the price point of Boyd Coddington wheels is lower than Boyd's wheels.

My iforged wheels are of excellent quality also. Additionally at the request of my local DISCOUNT TIRE store, Intro Customs sent me hubrings for my Iforged wheels, at no charge, and sent them to the store.

I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

Here is my solution to the iforged, BC, etc... debate: (Save up your $) and buy HRE's.

Excuse my poor use of words. There is only one set that is on a car as of now. They are made here in the good ole USA.

I'm considering your BC01, BC05 or BC10 wheels. Are there any issues with the BC wheels clearing the factory Brembos? I've already found issues with several other wheels. Since they are custom made to order, do they use hub rings or are they bored to the right hub diameter? Last, what do they weigh?

All BC Wheels leave the manufacturing facility hub centric for the vehicle they are being built for. No problem clearing the Brembo's however, there is an additional charge due to the fact we use a thicker forging to acheive the proper clearance. An 18x8 inch BC10 weighs in at around 20 pounds and a 19x8 weighs in at around 22 pounds.

Thumbs up

BC06's are the shizzle!

They look quite a bit like the Giovanna GF-1's, but at a fraction of the price.

Can't wait to see the BC06's on a Z.

i have a g35 4 door. i was trying to run 20 by 8.5 fronts and 20 by 10 rears. i tried to call you todd but i have had no luck in the 10 attempts....maybe i should leave a message. i was told i can only go 20 by 8.5 all around by the other person i spoke with. if they are custom made shouldn't i be able to run 10's in the back like i forged?
thanks
