I looked around in the sticky, but missed any mention of it... How the hell are you guys cleaning between the face and mounting flange/ring on the barrel?
I've decided Volks sell so well in SoCal because it never rains! I've had my Rays for a alittle over week and probably washed them 5 times.
Anyway, I know better than to use any chems on the anodized lip... and I dont know if a toothbrush will even reach... not to sure about using any other type of brush.. but as soon as I drive alittle, brake dust come creeping out of that crevice and leaves streaks. I do have wheel wax on the lip, so it wipes right off... but man, these things are hard to keep clean!
I also enjoy how the barrel holds a bucket worth of water (and funky brake dust soup) that runs out of the valve stem area as soon as they spin..

I see where that could work.. and might be useful occasionally, but they are getting wet 3+ times a week. But also, I refuse to own a leaf blower.
I tried compressed air, it just chased around the water.
I guess I'm really more concerned about the brake dust being permanently baked into that inaccessible area.
