Ok so I'm not exactly a wheel/rim expert, so I'm needing some opinions, I was thinking of having black rims with the silver/chrome edge...

This is a horrible paint example but its just giving me an idea of what it would look like..



Ideas anyone?

You're talking about black wheels with polished lips. That would work fine. Gunmetal with polished lip is also match made in heaven on silver cars. I personally have dark blue wheels on my silver.

 

i'm pretty much agree with gsazabi. + if you have extra money i will throw CF lip and CF hood. Try make a black and silver looks.

 

+1, 100% about gunmetal on silver. im not a fan of the gloss black on any silver car.
