seriously, i just got 19's and theres a lil too much gap for me but i cannot drop my car living here....and brooklyn is wayyyy worse than LI

 

At this point I wouldnt be surprised if the OP sold the car altogether.

If you like it that is all it matters. I am surprised that 18s and 19s looks a world apart. Lowering is great, but 19s don't need to be lowered if you don't have to. I don't see how some of them go through speed bumps and elevated parking lots. I've had my friend, who owns a auto performance shop telling me not to lower it and strangers who asked what springs I have. True, GT-Cs look a lot better in person with compliments from peeps to my brother wanting another Z of his (and he can buy from any dealerships). Good Luck with your new Volk, be careful with curbs, etc...

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned yet, I dont think it has, but I recommend spacers and a drop. I think I am the only one who caught that!

 

Best bet = Sell them and start over

Gold on a silver Z??? .. why do people ruin such nice cars with god awful wheels? Gold looks decent on Black (although I hate gold rims altogether), but gold on a silver Z? ICK!

Sorry man, but they look terrible. Size is wrong, tires are wrong, offsets are wrong, I don't even like those wheels!

Did you do any research whatsoever on specs before plopping down money on these rims?

 

Gold on silverstone = Ugly

Bronze on silverstone = Hot

Spacers won't fix the fact that they have itty bitty lips.

 

This picture says it all... It looks like you put your little tiny spare tires.... Look how empty your rear fender looks... Worse than the stock wheels... My guess would be your wheels have 35~45+ offsets... Stock wheels have 30+ offset.. Anyway you cut it, something just looks WAY~ off, period. You said you only paid $1100 for them, so I'm guessing you got it used... Good... Sell them and get something better than stock spec.

 

OR OR... spacers, drop, and paint....

 

I guess 9.5x19"/10.5x19" with 30 offset would've helped?
