aight..so i finally ordered my iforged aeros
19x8 19x10
4" lip
brushed aluminum with polished lip
two piece WITH bolts and rivets (just for show)
after reading all the posts i realized that 245/35 and 275/35 (or 285) is the traditional size
but i need some help with picking proper all season tires...i live in brooklyn ny and conditions get pretty bad in the winter
any ideas?

245 is good for the front, might wanna go 285 in back tho. even 295, your call, 275 is more standard for 9.5"
there is no such thing as a winter tire in those sizes, not even an all season tire. you need a second set of rims, theres just no way any tire that will fit onto a 10" rim will ever cut through the snow.
get a nice summer tire, and get another set of rims and tires with blizzaks for the winter.
that is my recomendation.
feel free to go onto tire rack or anywhere else that rates tires by their abilities, youll find that any tire near those sizes will have dashes under winter use. they cant do it.

I would use your stock wheels and tires if you are going to drive through snow and ice.
On 19" rims there is about 1" of sidewall in the front with 245/35 tires. The wheels will get scratched up for sure.
You might try 245/40 in front if you must use the 19's on bad roads. That will give you a little more protection.

ok...as far as winter tires or even all seasons i found out you cant get them for 19" rims
so i gues i wil get a set of tires for my stock 17's
im actually pretty clueless to what the tire #'s REALLY mean (i know there are posts but im too lazy)
im not asking for explanations
just please let me know what size i would want to use for best protection (as far as wheel scratching) and also a size that will fit the wheel well nicely

Nice choice.
I agree with everyone here. You're better off keeping you 17's and using them in the winter. I remember some members saying they put on some Blizzak's and the car handled great in the snow. You may want to do a search on this or ask a tire place about these tires.
