hey guys, plz help, will a +40mm offset work on 18"?

Default hey guys, plz help, will a +40mm offset work on 18"?

well, i have a really good deal on some te-37's goin on, but i think they may be the wrong offset.
they are 18x8.5 +40 and 18x9.5 +40...
do u guys think they will work?

I think that the offset is a bit on high side, especially if you are upgrading to different brakes. With the higher offset, the wheel will looked very tucked in, not what you want, and may not fit with the brembos.

I run 40 offsets w/18" (8 & 9) and IMHO no problems w/appearance or otherwise.

I dont think that size and offset will clear the brembos
