Default removing volk center caps

If i try to pop out the caps coming from the inside that have been installed on my TA volks for 1 year will that cause any scratches? I like the look without the caps and worried the black paint has rubbed off

I know I wont induce any scratches but the center cap being in place would it have rubbed off the finish or do they float?.

if you are worried about scratching, i would recommend just removing the wheel and popping it off from the back.

i probably wouldnt try it with the wheel still mounted.

take them off and pop from behind. they're on there tight and you'll only regret it if you do it any other way.

take the wheel off, and take the butt end of a large screwdriver and carefully tap the caps out with a hammer to the top of the screwdriver. the caps have a rubber o-ring that secures them onto the wheel, it should not scratch the paint. works fine on my volks
